Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
1/2 c Margarine
1 c Sugar
1 c Pitted dates
1/3 c Cherries cut up
1 Egg slightly beaten
1 ts Vanilla
3 c Rice crispies
1 c Walnuts cut up
1 c Or more of coconut
Put first 5 ingredients in saucepan and bring to a boil, boil 3-5 min.
Remove from heat and add the vanilla, rice crispies and walnuts. Drop
by tblsp. in coconut roll. Refrigerate.
