Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:

1 2/3 c Flour
1/3 c Cornstarch
1/2 ts Baking Powder
1/2 ts Baking Soda
1/2 c Unsalted Butter, softened
1/3 c Peanut Butter, smooth style
2/3 c Powdered Sugar
1/3 c Dark Brown Sugar, packed
1 lg Egg
2 ts Vanilla
40 Chocolate Kisses

Grease 2 cookies sheets. Mix dry ingredients together well. In a large
mixing bowl, beat the butter and peanut butter with an electric
mixter on medium speed until very light. Sift in the powered sugar.
Add brown sugar and beat until light and smooth. Beat in the egg and
vanilla. Gradually beat in the dry ingredients until just mixed. DO
NOT OVER BEAT!!! Pinch off 35-40 pieces. Wrap each kiss with dough,
leaving /" of kiss exposed at the tip. Place 2" apart on the cookies
sheets. Bake in a preheated 350oF oven for 9-11 minutes or lightly
brown on the edges. DO NOT OVER BAKE!!! Let stand on cookie sheet 3-4
minutes, remove to rack to cool.
