4 lb (To 6) Stewing Hen, Cleaned, -removed
Towel-Dried And -- loose fat 3 c Boiling Water
----------------------SEASONINGS--------------------------------
4 sl Ginger 1/3 c Soy Sauce
2 tb Sherry 2 ts Honey
1. Place the hen in a dutch oven with the boiling water.
2. After the mixture comes to a boil, add all seasonings and return
to a boil.
3. Reduce the heat, cover and simmer for 2 hours, or until it is done.
4. Serve the chicken with boiled white steamed rice, and the cooking
sauce (skim off the fat).
