12 lb Rhubarb
9 qt Water
7 c Sugar
2 ea 6oz cans concentrated
-orange juice
6 cn Concentrated lemon juice
Few grains salt
1 qt Ginger ale
Cut rhubarb into small pieces. Cook in the 9 quarts of water until
fruit is soft. Squeeze through double thickness of cheesecloth.
Discard any pulp remaining. In large saucepan, add the rhubarb
juice, and sugar. Heat to boiling point. Add the remaining fruit
juices and salt. Chill. When ready to serve, add the ginger ale and
pour into large pitchers over ice. Origin: Homestyle, Canadian
