2 ts Peanut oil -thickly sliced
1/3 ts Salt 1/2 lb Sugar snap peas
1/4 ts Pepper -or snow peas
1/4 ts Sugar -(abt 2 1/2 cups)
1 c Shiitake mushrooms -strings removed
-(abt 2oz) 1/2 ts Oriental sesame oil
1. Place a wok or large cast-iron skillet over high heat for 1
minute. Add the peanut oil and turn the heat to low. Add the salt,
pepper, and sugar. Stir for a few seconds to dissolve.
2. Add the mushrooms and stir-fry until they soften, about 2 minutes.
Remove from the heat and add the sesame oil. Serve hot or at room
temperature.
