Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
2 qt Strawberries
5 1/2 c Sugar
Boiling water
Wash hull the berries. Place in a large pot. Cover with boiling
water let stand for 3 minutes. Drain. Add 2 1/2 cups of water,
boil hard for 3 minutes. Add remaining sugar boil hard for another
3 minutes. Let stand overnight, either in large bowls or platters.
Ladle into serile jars. Seal.
