1 c Durum semolina 1 Egg
1 tb Sunflower seeds, ground 1 tb Sunflower or vegetable oil,
1 1/2 ts Sesame seeds Optional
1 ts Poppy seeds 2 tb Water, if and as needed
--------------------------EXTRUDER-------------------------------
1 1/4 c Durum semolina 1 tb Sunflower or vegetable oil,
1 tb Sunflower seeds, ground Optional
1 1/2 ts Sesame seeds 1 tb To 2 water, if and as
1 ts Poppy seeds Needed
1 Egg
Per 1 cup serving: 315 calories 11.5g protein 43.5g carbohydrate
10.7g fat 58.2mg sodium
The sunflower seeds should be finely ground in a food processor or
blender. If using an extruder, grind all seeds and use one of the
large dies so holes don't become clogged. Cookand serve immediately.
If using a hand machine, don't roll too thinly, as the seeds may
cause tearing. I stop at the fourth level of rolling. it may be
difficult to roll initially and should be run through the first set
of rollers several times.
