Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:

1 lb Lean ground beef 1 ts Dried whole thyme
1 lb Italian sausage 1 ts Cumin seeds
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 ts Dried whole basil
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste 3/4 ts Oregano
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, 1/2 ts Chili powder
-chopped 1/4 ts Ground turmeric
1 lg Onion, chopped 2 tb Garlic powder, divided
2 lg Bell peppers, chopped 1 c Shredded Mozzarella cheese
1 (4 oz.) jar whole mushrooms, 1 pk Spaghetti
-drained -Grated Parmesan cheese
1 1/2 ts Chopped fresh parsley

Brown ground beef and sausage. Drain. Stir in next 13 ingredients.
Add 1 tablespoon garlic powder, stirring well. Cover and simmer 20
minutes. Stir in an additional tablespoon of garlic powder; cover and
simmer 15 minutes. Add Mozzarella cheese and stir well. Cover and
simmer an additional 15 minutes.

Prepare spaghetti according to package directions. Serve sauce over
spaghetti. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
