Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:

20 Okra, fresh young ones 3 tb Patis (fish sauce)
1/4 c Water 4 cl Garlic,crushed
1/4 c Vinegar 1 Onion, chopped
1/2 c Pork, diced 1 ts Pepper

Wash and parboil the okra in the water. Set aside. Fry the pork. Push
to one side of the pan. Saute garlic, onion and okra. Season with
vinegar, patis, pepper. Cook until okra is tender crisp. (Vinegar
helps control the sliminess of the okra.) From: Let's Cook with Nora,
