5 tb Ghee 1/2 ts Coriander
2 Garlic cloves; chopped 2 Tomatoes; quartered
2 Whole cloves Salt; to taste
2 Bay leaves 2 md Potatoes
1 Cinnamon stick (1") - cut into bite-sized pieces
1 ts Garam masala 1/2 c Green peas
1 ts Chili powder 1 1/4 c Warm water
1/2 ts Tumeric
Heat the ghee in a pot and saute the onion and garlic over medium heat
till golden. Add cloves, bay leaves and cinnamon stick. Stir fry for
2 minutes.
Add garam masala, chili powder, tumeric, coiander, tomatoes, salt and
mix well. Add potatoes and peas. Pour in water and bring to a boil.
Lower heat, cover pot and simmer for 15 minutes.
Serve hot.
