1 ea Head coarsely chopped red
-cabbage
2 ea To 3 T. bacon drippings
3 ea To 4 T. honey
1/2 c Tarragon vinegar
-----------------COVER AND SIMMER ONE HOUR.----------------------
3 ea Diced apples
1/2 ts Salt
2 tb Apple jelly
1/4 ts Ground cloves
1/4 ts Caraway seed
1/2 ea To 3/4 c. red wine
Simmer 15-20 minutes more.
