1 c Sugar 3/4 c Chocolate syrup
1/2 c Butter or margarine 1 c All-purpose flour
4 ea Eggs 1 tb All-purpose flour
1/8 ts Salt 1 c Pecans -- chopped
-------------------------FROSTING:------------------------------
1 1/2 c Sugar 1/2 c Semisweet chocolate chips
6 tb Butter or margarine 1/2 c Pecans -- chopped
1/3 c Milk
In a mixing bowl, cream sugar and butter. Add eggs and salt; beat
well. Stir in chocolate syrup, flour and nuts. Pour into a greased
13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking pan. Bake at 350 deg. for 20 minutes.
Cool for 15 minutes. For frosting, combine sugar, butter and milk in
a saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Boil for 1 minute;
remove from the heat and stir in chocolate chips until melted. Beat
to spreading consistency, about 3 minutes. Add pecans: frost warm
brownies. Yield: 2 dozen
