Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
1/2 c Brown sugar
1/2 c White sugar
1/2 c Butter
1/2 c Shortening
1 ea Egg
2 c Flour
1 ts Cream of tartar
1 ts Soda
1/8 ts Salt
1 ts Vanilla
Cream butter,shortening vanilla, add beaten egg. Add dry
ingredients and mix well. Roll tsps. full into balls, put on baking
sheet and press finger in center fill with jam or jelly. Bake in 350
oven 10 - 12 min.
