Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:

1 1/2 c Flour
1/2 c Sugar
1/2 c Brown sugar
1 ts Cinnamon
1/2 ts Ginger
1/2 ts Nutmeg
1/4 ts Cloves
1 ts Baking soda
1/2 ts Salt
5 tb Vegetable oil
1 tb White vinegar
1 ts Vanilla
1 c Cold water

Mix to-gether the dry ingredients in a bowl. Make three holes in the
mixture, put oil in one, vinegar in one and vanilla in one. Pour
water over all and stir until just mixed. Pour batter into greased 8
inch pan bake in 350 oven 25-30 minutes. Frost or serve with
sweetened whipped cream or non - dairy whipped topping.
