1 1/4 c Sugar, brown - packed 1 cn Milk, evaporated (5 oz can)
1 1/4 c Sugar 2 c Pecan halves
Combine sugars and milk in heavy saucepan. Cook over medium heat,
stirring constantly, to soft-ball stage on candy thermometer. Cool 5
minutes, without stirring. Add pecan halves; beat with wooden spoon
until mixture begins to thicken. Drop quickly from teaspoon onto
waxed paper. Makes 25 pieces. Christmas 1980
