Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
3 c Brown sugar
1 c Lard
3 ea Eggs
4 tb Milk; sweet
1/2 ts Salt
1 ts Baking soda
1 ts Cinnamon
1 c Dates
Or
1 c Raisins
1/2 c Nut meats
5 c Flour; sifted
Drop by teaspoonful on cookie tin, bake in moderate oven.
Note: Combine ingredients. Moderate oven is 350 - 400 F.
