Main Ingredients:

Oven 350 degreesBaking time: approximately 40 to 45 minutes2 frozen pie crust circles or make your own2 cups hot or newly cooled cooked rice (do not use instant rice)1 pint canned red or king salmonSalt and pepper as desired or needed1 tsp. granulated onion (optional)1 beaten egg1 medium onion diced1 1/2 Tbsp. butter


Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:

Place onion and butter in microwaveand cook until onions are clear. Mixall ingredients together. Place in piecrust lined pie pan and press downslightly. Cover with top crust and seal.Cut vents, brush canned milk evenly oncrust and bake in 350 degree oven untilgolden brown. Serve with ketchup ifdesired. Note: Over the years Agrafena'schildren have learned to cut the timerequired to create traditional foods.This is definitely a short cut versioncreated by my daughter. You can usedcanned corned beef or browned hamburgerin place of salmon. Serve with Ketchup.
