Main Ingredients:
1 c. raisins
1 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
4 c. flour
Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
Mix together raisins, shortening and sugar. Mix together remaining ingredients. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients. Mix until smooth. Pour in 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
