1 1/2 c Tomato juice
1/2 c Water
1 lb Stewing beef -- cut in

3 tb Chopped fresh parsley
20 Milliliters
3 tb Butter
1 lg Onion -- chopped coarsely
1 lb Fresh green beans
Salt and pepper to taste
Garlic -- minced

bring the water and tomato juice to a boil. Add the beef, parsley and
garlic. Cover and simmer for 2 hours. Do not brown the meat first.
Wash the beans and slice them diagonaly into one inch pieces. Saute
