Main Ingredients:
Scant 1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten together
1 c. crushed bananas
1 tsp. baking powder
2 c. flour
1 c. nut meats
Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
Mix in order given. Bake in loaf pan at 325 degrees for 45 minutes. Other fruits, such as figs, dates, etc., may be used.
