2 c Milk 1 c Sugar
3 Egg yolks; beaten 1/4 lb Figs, dried; chopped
1 pk Gelatin, unflavored 1/4 lb Walnuts; chopped
1/4 c Cream 1/2 c Orange juice
1/3 ts Salt 1 tb Vanilla extract
Scald milk and add to beaten egg yolks. Sprinkle gelatin in cream;
let stand for 5 minutes. Add egg mixture to disolved gelatin
mixture. Add salt, sugar, figs, walnuts, orange juice, and vanilla.
Stir well; pour into freezer tray. Put in freezer. Stir once or
twice during freezing process.
