Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
3/4 c Butter 1 1/2 c Flour
4 oz Unsweetened chocolate 1/2 ts Salt
2 c Sugar 1 1/2 ts Vanilla
4 Eggs 1 3/4 c Pecans -- chopped
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Melt butter and chocolate in a large,
heavy saucepan over lowest heat. Off heat, mix in remaining
ingredients in order listed, beating well after each addition. Pour
batter into a greased 9x9 pan and bake 40 minutes until brownies just
begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool in pan on a rack before
cutting.
