Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:



2 ts Baking powder
1/4 ts -Salt
1/2 c Butter
1 c Sugar
3 Egg yolks
1 ts Vanilla
3/4 c Milk

Preheat oven to 375F. Have all ingredients at room temp. Sift
flour resift with baking powder salt. Add butter cream till
soft. Add sugar gradually cream till light. Beat in egg yolks. Add
vanilla or lemon flavouring. Add flour mixture to butter migxture
in 3 parts, alternating with milk. Stir batter smooth after each
addition. Bake in greased layer pans about 25 min. Spread LEMON
FILLING between layers when cool. Frost MAKES: 2 8" ROUND CAKES
