5 sl Bread; cut in 1/2" cubes
1/4 c Butter (or marg.); melted
1/2 c Mushrooms; sliced
2 c Shrimp; peeld,cookd,deveined
2 c American cheese; shredded
3 Eggs; beaten
2 c Milk
1/2 ts Salt
ds Black pepper
ds Paprika
Brown bread cubes in butter; remove from skillet and set aside. Cook
mushrooms in butter for about 10 minutes. In a buttered 1-1/2quart
casserole dish, alternate layers of bread cubes, mushrooms, shrimp,
and cheese.
Combine eggs, milk, and seasonings; pour over layers. Place casserole
dish in a pan of hot water, and bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour
and 15 minutes.
