Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
1/3 c Shortening
1/2 c Milk
2 Eggs, beaten
1/2 ts Cloves
1 1/2 ts Cinnamon
1 1/3 c Honey
1 c Raisins, chopped
1/2 ts Salt
4 tb Baking powder
3 1/2 c Flour
Cream shortening honey together; add eggs, and mix in. Add milk,
salt raisins; mix well. Sift mix dry ingredients together; then
mix into batch. Drop by spoon on greased pan. Bake in a moderate
oven until brown.
