Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
16 ea Envelopes sugar substitute 3 tb Cornstarch
Or 6 tablespoons sugar 2 c Skim milk
3 tb Unsweetened cocoa 1 ts Vanilla extract
In a saucepan, combine sugar substitute or sugar, cocoa and
cornstarch. Whisk in the milk. Simmer, stirring constantly, until
thickened, about 5 minutes. Stir in the vanilla. Cool. Yield: 4
servings. Diabetic Exchanges: One serving (prepared with sugar
substitute) equals 1/2 milk, 3/4 starch; also, 95 calories, 63 mg
sodium, 2 mg cholesterol. 17 gm carbohydrate, 5 gm protein 1 gm fat
