1/3 c Oil 1/4 c Whole wheat flour
6 ea Salsify, cut in 1/2 inch 6 c Milk
-pieces (about 6 cups) 2 T Kelp powder
1 lg Onion, chopped 1 t Celery greens, chopped
1/2 c Celery, chopped Salt to taste
Place oil in a large skillet. Add salsify and brown. Stir in onion
and celery and simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in flour. Gradually add
milk, stirring well. Simmer for 15 minutes. Add kelp, celery greens
and salt to taste. Makes 6 servings. From: The Green Thumb Cookbook
