Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
3 tb Lard 1 tb Baking powder
1/4 c Sugar 1/2 ts Salt
2 Eggs 1 c Milk
2 c Flour
Cream lard, add sugar and beat well. Add an egg, beat well. Add the
other egg and beat well again. Stir together flour, baking powder and
salt. Add to egg mixture, alternating with the milk. Mix only until
blended. Fill greased muffin tins about 2/3 full. Bake at 350F. for
about 25 minutes. Many of the recipes in this collection did not
contain amounts or oven temperatures. I have typed them in as they
appear in the book, typos and all.
