Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
2 c Orange juice 1 T Grated orange
1/4 c Fresh, frozen, or rind 1 3/4 c Milk
cn Lemon juice 1/8 t Salt,
1/2 c Granulated sugar
Combine first 4 ingredients; add very slowly to milk, stirring till
sugar dissolves. Add salt. Freeze in 2-qt. crank freezer until
difficult to turn, using 8 parts crushed ice to 1 part ice-cream
salt. Makes 1 1/2 qt. Note: This sherbet may curdle in the making,
but when done it's nice and creamy.
