Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
1 c Sugar 1 ts Baking soda
1/2 c Shortening 2 c Flour
2 ea Eggs 1 ts Vanilla
1 c Sour cream 1 c Raisins
1/4 ts Salt 1 ea Orange; small - rind of
Add soda to cream. Grate orange peel. Pour hot water over raisins,
then grind. Bake in large flat pan. Roll in powdered sugar or use
orange icing.
Note: No temperature give. Assume a slow 325 F. oven.
