1 ea Round steak, about 2 pounds 1 cl Garlic; chopped
1/2 ts Salt (or garlic salt) 4 tb Brown sugar
1/2 ts Pepper 4 tb Prepared mustard
3 tb Shortening 3 tb Worcestershire sauce
1 ea Onion; chopped 2 tb Lemon juice
1 tb Celery seed 1 cn (10-3/4 oz) tomato soup
Sprinkle steak with salt and pepper. Melt shortening in heavy skillet;
brown steak with onion, celery
seed and garlic. Add remaining ingredients; simmer, covered, for
1-1/2 hours. Check after 45 minutes; add a little water if necessary,
and stir.
