1 lb Zita 1/4 c Water
3 ts Salt 1/4 c Tomatoes; chopped
2 tb Olive oil 1/4 c Zucchini; chopped
1 ts Garlic; chopped Splash white wine
1/4 c Broccoli flowerets 2 Fresh basil sprigs
1/4 c Carrots; chopped pn Black pepper
1/4 c Mushrooms; chopped -- freshly ground

In a large pot, bring 3 qts of water to a boil. Add the ziti and 2
1/2 ts of the salt. Cook until al dente.
In the meantime, heat the olive oil in a large skillet, add the
garlic, and saute until golden. Add the broccoli, carrots, mushrooms,
and water.
Cover and simmer for about 3 mins, then add the tomatoes, zucchini,
white wine, basil, pepper, and remaining salt.
When the ziti is cooked and drained, transfer it to a serving dish
and stir in a little of the sauce. Spoon the remaining sauce over the
top and serve.
