4 Fresh pears, peeled, cored
-and sliced
2 tb Flour
1/2 ts Cinnamon
3/4 c Flour
1/3 c Sugar
1/4 ts Salt
1/4 c Butter
1/4 c Finely chopped nuts
On bottom of lightly greased 8 inch square baking pan, arrange sliced
pears. Combine 2 tbsp flour and half the cinnamon. Sprinkle over
pears. To make topping, combine 3/4 cup flour, remaining cinnamon,
sugar and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly. Add nuts to topping
mixture. Spoon over pears. Bake, uncovered, in 350 F oven for 30-35
minutes until pears are tender. Makes 6 servings.
