Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
1 qt Tomato puree * 1/2 c Olive oil
3 Garlic cloves, sliced Salt
2 Sweet basil sprigs
~* May be canned or home-canned ; amount is approximate.
Heat saucepan. Add oil, basil and garlic and cook only until garlic is
softened. Add puree and a little salt. Cook for 20 minutes or until
creamy. May be made ahead of time and frozen in recipe-size batches.
