Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
1 c Brown sugar 2 Egg yolks or 1 egg
1/2 c Shortening 1/2 c Sour milk
3/4 c Pumpkin 1/4 ts Soda
2 ts Mapleine flavoring 1/2 ts Salt
4 ts Baking powder 2/3 c Chopped floured
2 c Flour Nuts
1/2 c White sugar
Cream sugar and shortening. Add other ingredients in order given. Bake
1/2 hour at 350 in pan 6 1/2" x 11". Good without frosting served warm,
with apple cider.
