2 c Frozen broccoli; chopped 1/2 c Chicken broth;
3 tb Margarine; 1/2 c Swiss cheese; shredded
-=OR=- 2 tb Dry white wine;
3 tb Butter; 1 1/2 c Cubed chicken
3 tb All-purpose flour; -=OR=-
1/8 ts Pepper; 1 1/2 c Cubed turkey;
ds Ground nutmeg; 3 tb Grated Parmesan;
3/4 c Light cream or milk; Paprika;
Cook broccoli according to package directions; drain. Arrange in a 10x6x2
inch baking dish.
Meanwhile, for sauce, in a medium saucepan melt margarine or butter. Stir
in flour, pepper and nutmeg. Add cream or milk and chicken broth all at
once. Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly. Add Swiss cheese and wine,
stirring till cheese melts.
Pour half of the sauce over broccoli. Top with chicken or turkey, then the
remaining sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and paprika. Bake in a 350F
oven about 20 minutes or till heated through.
