------------------------INGREDIENTS-----------------------------
4-5 lb beef chuck roast 8 oz Can tomato sauce
1/2 c Chopped onion 4 ea Or 5 carrots
1-2 cloves garlic
-------------------------DIRECTIONS------------------------------
1 T Olive oil 8 oz Can tomato paste
1/2 c Chopped green pepper Salt and pepper to taste
Put olive oil in dutch oven and heat. Add onion and garlic. Fry
until soft but not brown. Add tomato paste and sauce. Stir and cook
about 5 minutes. Add meat, salt, and pepper. Add water to cover
roast. Simmer about 5 hours. Thirty minutes before serving, add
carrots. Serve with spaghetti.
