1 3/4 c FLOUR
2 c SUGAR
1 1/2 ts BAKING POWDER
1 1/2 ts BAKING SODA
3/4 c COCOA
1 ts SALT
2 ea EGGS
1 c MILK
1/2 c OIL
2 ts VANILLA
1 c BOILING WATER
COMBINE ALL DRY INGREDIENTS IN A LARGE BOWL. ADD ALL OTHER INGREDIENTS
EXCEPT FOR THE BOILING WATER. BEAT UNTIL WELL MIXED, ABOUT 2 MINUTES
AT MEDIUM SPEED. STIR IN BOILING WATER (BATTER WILL BE THIN). POUR
INTO GREASED PAN (EITHER 1, 9" X 13" OR 2, 9" ROUND). BAKE AT 350 DEG
F FOR 30 TO 35 MINUTES FOR ROUND PANS OR 35 TO 40 FOR SHEET PAN. COOL
10 MINUTES IN PAN, THEN REMOVE TO WIRE RACK AND COOL COMPLETELY.
