1/4 c Flour
1/4 c Sugar
1/2 ts Salt
1/4 ts Pepper
2 lb Beef short ribs, cut into
2" lengths
1 c Onion, sliced
1/3 c Catsup
2 tb Soy sauce
2 tb Worcestershire sauce
1 tb Vinegar
1/2 c Water
1. Combine flour, sugar, salt and pepper on waxed paper. Roll ribs
in the mixture, coating them on all sides and shaking off excess.
2. Arrange ribs in a baking dish or pan in a single layer. Layer
onions over ribs. Combine catsup, soysauce, Worcestershire sauce,
vinegar and water in a small bowl; pour over ribs.
3. Braise, covered in a 325 oven for 1-1/2 hours, basting
occasionally with pan sauce. Uncover; continue cooking for 1-1/2
hours longer or until ribs are glazed and very tender.
