Baking soda
Sliced onions
Bacon
Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
Remove all surface fat. Cover meat with a weak solution of soda and water. (1 teaspoon soda to 1 quart water) Boil 10 minutes and drain. Cover beaver with bacon and onions, roast until tender.
