Main Ingredients:
1 pound pork sausage16 oz can red kidney beans16 oz can crushed tomatoes2 cups water1 medium onion, diced2 medium potatoes, diced1 bay leaf1/2 tsp salt1/2 tsp black pepper1/4 tsp garlic salt1/4 tsp thyme1/4 cup chopped green pepper
Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
Brown sausage in skillet, drain off fat. In Dutch oven, combinekidney beans, water, tomatoes, onions, bay leaf, salt, garlic salt,thyme and black pepper. Add sausage, potatoes, and green pepperand simmer for one hour.Serve over rice with some Cajun hot sauce!
