3 tb Butter 1 tb Tomato poaste
1 sm Onion, finely chopped 1 tb Worcestershire sauce
1/2 Green pepper, seeded and -a tb dry sherry
-finely chopped 1/8 ts Cayenne pepper
6 1/2 oz Can chopped clams, drained 1 Dill pickle, thinly sliced
1 c Grated Cheddar cheese 4 sl Hot buttered toast
Melt butter, add onion and green pepper; saute for 3 minutes. Add
clams, grated cheese, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, sherry and
cayenne pepper. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until cheese
melts. Place a pickle slice on each slice of toast; spoon clam
mixture on top.
