3 lb Short Ribs Of Beef 2 tb Brown Sugar
1/4 c All-Purpose Flour 2 tb Vinegar
2 tb Shortening 1/4 ts Ground Cinnamon
1 cn Condensed Beef Broth (10 1/2 1/4 ts Ground Cloves
Oz) 1/4 ts Ground Allspice
1 c Dried Apricots
Dust ribs with flour; brown in shortening in large heavy pan. Pour off
excess fat. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over ribs. Cover.
Cook over low heat about 2 1/2 hrs or until ribs are tender; turn
ribs and baste with sauce occasionally. Yield: 4 to 6 servings.
