2 ea Bottles beer 1/3 c Prepared mustard
1/4 c Chopped onion 2 t Celery seed
1 T Butter 1 t Ground turmeric
-------------------------DIRECTIONS------------------------------
4 lb Country-style ribs 1/4 c Honey
2 ea Cloves garlic, minced 1 t Salt
1/2 c Vinegar
Pour beer over ribs in large pan. Add additional beer, if needed, to
fully cover ribs. Bring to boiling, reduce heat, cover, and simmer
45- 60 minutes or until tender. Drain. In a small saucepan, cook
onion and garlic in butter until tender but not brown. Add remaining
ingredients and bring to a boil. Simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes or
until mixture is reduce to 3/4 cups. Grill ribs over slow coals 20-25
minutes, brushing with sauce and turning every 10 minutes. Makes 4-6
servings.
