2 tb Cooking oil (green beans, broccoli,
1 lb Boneless pork top loin -- -mushrooms red pepper),
Thinly sliced -defrosted
1 1/2 ts Ground ginger 1 lg Tomatoes -- cut int wedges
1/2 ts Garlic powder 1 tb Cornstarch
1 pk Pea pods, frozen -- 1/2 c Water
Defrosted 6 oz 1/4 c Soy sauce
1 pk Japanese vegetables -- Cooked rice or chow mein
Frozen 16 oz Noodles
In a wok or skillet, heat oil on high. Cook the meat with ginger and
garlic powder until meat is no longer pink. Add pea pods, Japanese
vegetables and tomato; cook until vegetables are heated through. Mix
cornstarch, water and soy sauce; pour over meat/vegetable mixture.
Cook and stir until sauce thickens. Serve immediately over rice or
over chow mein noodles. Yield: 4 servings.
