Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
1 c Corn meal 1/2 ts Cayenne pepper
1/2 c Plain flour 1/2 c Green onion
1 1/2 ts Salt 1/2 c Corn
1/2 ts Baking soda 1/2 c Buttermilk
1 ts Baking powder 2 Beaten eggs
1/2 ts Garlic powder 2 tb Hot oil
Heat enough peanut oil for deep frying in skillet to 375 degrees. Mix
all ingredients well and drop by spoonful into hot oil. Fry until
golden. Remove with slotted spoon to paper towel. Serve while warm.
Wonderful with fried fish, and coleslaw.
