4-5 cups cooked chicken 3 tablespoons butter 1 large onion, chopped 1cup raw rice salt, pepper, sweet basil, rosemary chicken broth-usually 2 cups 1 can evaporated milk
Place chicken meat in shallow pan. Sprinkle with salt and herbs to taste. Saute onions in butter until tender-do not let brown! Arrange onion over chicken. Sprinkle rice evenly over top and add enough chicken broth to cover. Cover pan and bake at 350 degrees one and one-half hours. Add milk, full strength. Re-cover and bake another 30 minutes. Do not stir. Hope people enjoy this!
