12 oz Lean ground beef 1 tb Green onion -- sliced
1 pk Dry yeast 3/4 ts Oregano -- crushed
1/4 c Warm water 1/8 ts Dried red pepper
1 ts Salt -- divided 1 c Mozzarella cheese --
3/4 c Flour Shredded
1 lg Tomato -- chopped 1 tb Parmesan -- grated
Dissolve yeast in water in large bowl. Stir in 1/2 t salt, sugar and
2/3 c flour. Add remaining flour to form soft dough. Turn out on
lightly floured board. Knead until smooth and elastic. Cover. Let
rest 10 minutes. Roll dough into 12 inch circle. Place on baking
sheet. Crimp edges to form rim. Cover let rise 30 minutes. Preheat
oven to 400 F. Bake 4 to 5 minutes. Meanwhile cook and stir onion and
tomato in large skillet over medium high heat for 2 minutes ; drain
and set aside. Crumble ground beef into same skillet. Cook
separating meat until no pink remains. Pour off drippings. Sprinkle
remaining salt, oregano, and crushed red pepper over beef. Stir in
mozzarella cheese and reserved tomato mixture; spoon evenly over
crust. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Bake 6 to 7 more minutes until
heated through and crust is brown.
