Main Ingredients:
2 c. salt
1 c. flour
1 tsp. alum
1 2/3 c. water
Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, 3-5 minutes. Cool slightly. Food coloring may be added now or painted when dry. This mixture can be used to spread on maps, stretched out on cardboard or to cover boxes or cans to be decorated.
