1 ts CINNAMON 1 c BUTTER (SOFTENED)
2 c FLOUR 2 x EGGS
1 1/2 c SUGAR 1 c SOUR CREAM
1 ts BAKING POWDER 1 ts VANILLA
1/2 ts BAKING SODA
COMBINE 1/3 C SUGAR AND THE CINNAMON; SET ASIDE. STIR TOGETHER THE FLOUR,
BAKING POWDER, BAKING SODA AND SALT AND SET ASIDE. IN A LARGE BOWL CREAM
THE BUTTER; GRADUALLY ADDING 1 1/2 CUPS SUGAR; CREAM TILL LIGHT AND
FLUFFY. ADD EGGS, BEATING WELL AFTER EACH ADDITION. FOLD IN SOUR CREAM AND
VANILLA. GENTLY BEAT IN FLOUR MIX UNTIL WELL BLENDED. SPOON 1/3 OF THE
FLOUR MIX INTO A WELL GREASED AND FLOURED 9 X 5 LOAF PAN. PLACE 1/3 OF THE
CINNAMON MIX IN THE PAN NEXT. REPEAT TWO MORE TIMES. BAKE AT 350 DEG F FOR
50 TO 60 MINUTES. COVER WITH FOIL THE LAST 10 MINUTES IF BROWNING TO
FAST. TURN CAKE OUT ONTO RACK CINNAMON SIDE UP AND COOL COMPLETELY.
